Local Missions
OakleafOn the first Monday of the month, we lead a worship service at the Oakleaf Village, an assisted living facility in Lexington. We share praise and worship songs and devotionals with the residents. LICSOur church is involved with the Lexington Interfaith Community Services (LICS). Their office is located at 227 North Lake Drive. This is a community organization that provides food and clothing to those in need. We support them by collecting food pantry needs and with our tithes. TeamKidTeamKid is a unique blend of activity and discipleship using interactive and Bible memory. Each meeting will provide practical, biblical answers in a fun yet interactive session of activities and games. We pray God will use this material to enrich the life of each child who participates in the TeamKid program. Foreign MissionsWe support Luann and Susanne Goosen. They are American/South African missionaries who have been in the field for 1-1/2 years. They work in Umtata/Transkei, South Africa. Their goal is to teach the amaZioni people the Word of God and help them become soundly Biblical in their beliefs.
